The Wilo-Foundation has been a proud member of the partner circle of the international foundation platform Foundations 20 (F20) since this summer. The F20 platform is linked to the G20 process, with the United Nations' Agenda 2030 serving as the thematic framework.

The global network currently includes more than 60 foundations and philanthropic organizations from around the world. As a member of the F20, the Wilo-Foundation is actively engaged in calling for joint action for sustainable development, as well as using concrete examples and funding projects to demonstrate effective ways to solve the most pressing challenges of our time. Activities will focus on successfully combating climate change and achieving a just transition to sustainable development based on renewable energy. The F20 aims to be part of the solution, building bridges between civil society, business and the financial sector, think tanks and policymakers - within the G20 countries, between them and beyond.

As the majority shareholder of the Wilo Group, the Wilo-Foundation also has a clear focus on the future in its funding activities. Active involvement in the F20 is therefore a logical and purposeful measure. Climate protection and the responsible use of water as a resource are central topics. In addition, the Foundation's strong desire to support young people is a key concern, which is reflected in the funding areas of science, education & social life, culture and sports. Furthermore, the Wilo-Foundation is convinced that only a new level of international cooperation and transformative partnerships will be able to solve the global challenges facing the world today.
