JINC – every talent counts

The Dutch non-profit organisation JINC is commited to building a society in which a child’s background does not determine their future; a society in which every child gets a fair chance for their education and career.

In order to reach that goal, JINC, Amsterdam, helps children aged 8 to 16 who grow up in an environment with fewer role models to acquire the necessary skills at a young age for getting off to a good start on the labour market. Through the JINC programme, they get acquainted with various professions, find out what kind of work suits their talents and learn how to apply for a job. In 2022, JINC gave more than 78,000 children the opportunity to grow and helped them prepare for their career.

JINC works with schools and with partners from business and society. Through this collaboration, various learning programmes and support offers can be realised so that young people can successfully finish school and get off to a good start in their working lives. The Wilo-Foundation was a sponsor of JINC for a three-year period, providing financial support for programmes targeting young people in Zaandam. In addition, Wilo employees volunteered as mentors.

Our funding partner

The Dutch organisation JINC, Amsterdam, works with schools, over 800 companies and foundations and about 4,600 volunteers in various regions of the Netherlands. Partner organisations and businesses can get involved on a voluntary basis, which gives them an opportunity to actively accompany children, pass on the experience they have acquired throughout their lives and careers, and gather inspiring experiences.

The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) forms the global framework for action for socially, economically and ecologically sustainable development.
